  • To work for development of the village in all respects using appropriate technology in the field of Agriculture, Animal husbandry, cottage industries including handicrafts etc.
  • To promote and popularize the non-conventional energy sources for all purposes and to benefit the rural women folk in general.
  • To promote development of needy and weaker section of population with special reference to the desert tribal’s and provide relief to the poor.
  • To provide relief to the needy in the area affected by the natural calamities and other emergenc
  • To undertake the programme of housing for the poor.
  • To train persons for self-employment and to enrich the handicrafts of the area and introduce income generating projects for the poor and needy persons with special reference to women.

  • To educate consumers against exploitation by middlemen, producers and manufacturers.

  • To organise exhibitions, fair and other promotional activities for the sale of handicrafts of the area, to benefit the rural artisans and to assist in the marketing of such products.
  • To act as a link between government and people so that assistance of the government reaches to those whom it is intended.

  • To borrow loan from Higher Financing Institution, Central / State Government Departments, Foreign Aid Agencies and other organisation for the development activities
